Default NL60 turned Set

Hi. I was wondering if i played this hand to passive. Any raise I would have run into I would have to think flush or straight. But I might have left some value on the road by just calling down. Had just joined the table no reads.

Bet the flop, ~$4 should be good
Bet the turn, 1/2-3/4 pot
River is ok, but I lead this almost always

Don't post results
Yes, this is too passive

Remember the key to LAG/TAG is the AG (aggressive). Passivity loses $$$ in the long run.

You c-bet 10 10 into 2 ppl, who called a 5 BB preflop raise, with 2 overs on the board? Isnt that money thrown out of the window 9 out of 10 times?? I mean I cant expect to hit my set on turn.

I never cbet this board. I may raise the turn as I don't think any of them have the flush. River is fine.

You shouldn't play your cards, you should play what they think you have and know what they have. And correctly use it against them.

Btw, NL60?

Actually it will win you the pot 4/5 times right there. Always renember that any scarecard for you might very well be one for them too.

No, but do they know that you don't have AK? If you get called you can slow down on the turn if you don't spike your ten, if you get raised you can easily let go of the hand and know that you're beat. What's the point of the raise PF if you aren't going to throw a c-bet out there? Hope for all unders (~55% of the time) or spike your set (~1:10), but yeah, throw a bet out there and see what happens.

Why no c-bet?

[/ QUOTE ]

1)2 opponents
2)wet flop
3)our hand has showdown value but insufficient value to build a big pot on this board OOP
4)checking avoids a possible c/r
5)c-betting 100% is a bad idea
6)checking maximizes the chance of a second best hand putting $$ into the pot (esp. w/over-aggro villains).

As played, lead the turn for 3/4pot in case a 4th heart kills your action or scares you from extracting full-value for your hand or outdraws you.

Bet river 3/4 pot as your hand is under-repped and the turn action doesn't look like the 3rd heart hit anyone.
