DWade taken off court in wheelchair...playoffs?

For those who haven't seen sportscenter yet, DWade dislocated his shoulder during the game tonight, and seemed to be in pretty ridiculous pain(far beyond a normal dislocation)

If he's out several weeks...does anyone else think they miss the playoffs altogether?

Also, has anyone ever seen anyone go crazy like that over a dislocated shoulder? I've dislocated mine, and I'm not going to claim it didn't hurt...but I didn't need a wheelchair...

This looks serious.. you could tell he was in a tremendous amount of pain.. he was in so much pain that it looked to me like he was crying. I think they can still make the playoffs because the east really sucks.. they're still in 8th right now and the teams behind them (Nets) are a mess.. Will have to see what their roster looks like after the deadline..

btw, we could be looking at Detroit/Miami in the first round!!

i think the wheelchair was preventive---they simply didn't want the shoulder moving at all. But i heard that even as they were taking him to the hospital he was still in tremendous pain.

Whether they make the playoffs doesn't really matter seeing that they are basically guaranteed to get swept or win 1 game in a best of 7 vs any of the other remaining playoff teams.

u also have to wonder if now any possible Kidd or Carter deal is dead cuz they have a great shot to make the playoffs if Wade is done for most of season.

just saw on sportscenter separated shoulder not a huge deal.

edit: wow just found out still ~6 weeks out. more than i thought a separated shoulder will be.

In a related story, Dwayne reportedly pulled a vaginal muscle while he was being moved from his wheelchair to the ambulance. Extent of the pull is unknown.
