Default Something good about Sportscenter

I don't hate SC as much as a lot of you, but it is getting stale, for sure.

Tonight, they were showing the highlights from the Orlando/Phoenix NBA game. Tim Thomas nails a 3 and one of the anchors says (Van Pelt or Anderson) "3 beers for each of my coworkers".

Best line I've heard in a long time.

Josh

This VanPelt guy does awesome impressions of Steven A. Smith and Mel Kiper Jr.

Van Pelt.

I think he's REALLY good as long as I block out his "that's levitation, holmes" line.

I was just about to start a Scott van Pelt appreciation thread. His Steven A. imitation is priceless, and I just recently heard his Kiper today and it is also very good.

I love how during all Nashville Predators hockey highlights he works in a Schwartzenegger quote from Predator, too.

also, Neil Everett has really elevated his level of play and imo is one of the best anchors now and a perfect compliment to SVP.

Are they still only on ESPN? Always a weird concept.

It's a good one, but it's also part of the problem. Meaning, that the good ones just encourage them to keep trying to find more good ones, which subjects us to dozens of lame ones in while they try to find something else that's actually clever/funny.
