50/100 I play bad
5 handed, I am the button. Villain is the best player at the table. Does this make this a fold preflop? Also, I think I should have folded on the turn. Given that I didn't, does he ever fold ace high if I bet the river? Thanks in advance. ** Dealing Down Cards ** Dealt to Fudgneut: [Kh, Jd] Player 5: Fold Player 6: Raise ($100) Fudgneut: Raise ($150) Player 2: Fold Player 3: Fold Player 6: Raise ($100) Fudgneut: Call ($50) ** Dealing Flop ** Community cards: [5d, 6d, Tc] Player 6: Bet ($50) Fudgneut: Call ($50) ** Dealing Turn ** Community cards: [2s] Player 6: Bet ($100) Fudgneut: Call ($100) ** Dealing River ** Community cards: [4h] Player 6: Check ($0) Fudgneut: Check ($0) |

Re: 50/100 I play bad
Preflop looks okay to me. That said, if your table image isn't great and the opponent is really tough, you aren't giving up too much just folding here.
Fold the flop, fold the turn. I doubt the river bet works enough to show a profit, especially since the diamond draw didn't come in. |

Getting 10:1, closing the action, with position, I don't know about a fold on the flop.

Re: 50/100 I play bad
Flop peel is pretty marginal. I don't think it matters much one way or the other. The very weak backdoor straight and flush draws probably make it a marginal peel. That said, if it can prevent you from making a big mistake later (e.g. the turn peel), I think the flop fold is better even though if you played the hand optimally every time you can probably peel the flop for a slight profit.

Re: 50/100 I play bad
Think the flop is close and I could go either way calling/folding. Turn seems like a clear fold though.
I dont think he folds A-high on the river. |

Agreed, turn is obvious fold.
