2nd monitor lower quality than first?

Two Samsung 204Bs. One I've had for 5-6 months, one I got today. Brightness settings and everything on the monitor menu the same.

The newer monitor is much sharper and brighter (noticeably).

The new monitor also has a "MagicColor" menu that the older one doesn't have, but all settings are the same other than that. Is there anything I can change/download on my CPU to fix this?

Things wear out. You'll need to go into the settings on the new monitor and tweak it till it matches your old monitor, or at least close enough that it doesn't bother you.
