WSOP circuit event - Caesars AC

I wanted to get some information on the WSOP circuit event March 3rd-15th at Caesar's in Atlantic City. I haven't been to one of these events, and would like to know what to expect.

I plan on playing the step tourneys. It looks like Step 1 starts at 12PM. How many tables do they normally run for Step 1? How early do you think you would need to get there to register for them? What kind of players should I expect to encounter in the Step tourneys? how are the starting chip/blind structures. (Fast, Slow?)

I plan on calling Caesars as well for any information, but if someone has played in this event before, any insights would be great.
