Mining, a few questions

I have downloaded Idleminer, and I am about ready to try it out, so I was wondering:

Should I forget about Idleminer, and just use the free programs?

Will substantial mining of hands bog down my PT data base? Already, PT is a bit slow to auto import hands while playing, will this get worse with a huge mined database?

Should I seperate mined HH text files from the normal party HH files?
Should I seperate mined hands from my normal database? Again, I am afraid of making my database too heavy to be efficient for analyzing just my own stats. IF you use the same DB for both mined and personal hands, do you often need to start a new DB?
