KK A turn
btn is pretty solid probably not quite 30/20 lagtag.
btn raises, hero 3bets KK in sb, bb folds, btn calls flop 983r hero bets, btn raises, hero 3bets, btn calls turn A hero.... whats the line? |

Re: KK A turn
my line is to b/c and c/c the river. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems standard.

Re: KK A turn
You can also c/c, there's not many draws. My first thought was also b/c c/c, but actually it might be better to just c/c turn, and possily b/c or b/f the river. Do you want him to fold here if he doesn't have an ace? And why willingly bet into an ace who will raise and then call down? So worse hands fold, and better hands raise. It's better to let him bluff at it, play wa/wb from there on.

Re: KK A turn
No one wants to bet fold?
Check call here is pretty bad IMO. |

Check call here is pretty bad IMO. [/ QUOTE ]Why? Convince me. As in, why is it standard to play this way when wa/wb from the start, and when a similar situation occurs later in the hand it's suddenly pretty bad? |

Re: KK A turn
If hes solid hes very unlikely to have an ace in his hand. Bet/call the turn.

[/ QUOTE ] Villain made a steal raise on the button, why are we worried about the ace? Why would we offer villain a free card here? |
