someone straddled on my Ace-Jack
4/8 foxwoods, the ever popular live straddle is out there. An expert play. Game is normal loose. Maniac in the Small Blind. Straddler is not very good player, and not particularly LAG. He's just mixing it up hoping to get lucky I suppose.
I have AJo in middle position. One player directly to my right coldcalls. He is the 2nd best player at the table which isn't saying much but his hand must be halfway decent. I'm next and...? |

Re: someone straddled on my Ace-Jack
I haven't played live in a casino so I'm not 100% what a straddle is, but if it is just basically a live blind raise by someone I'm raising. I'm probably raising if there wasn't a straddle and someone in front of me just raised as well.

Re: someone straddled on my Ace-Jack
a straddle is just a blind raise by UTG, and if the straddle is "live" in the room, them he can act on it even if no one else raises.

Re: someone straddled on my Ace-Jack
also since straddle is voluntary, straddler = retarded, so it's worth playing as well
