100nl - How\'s my analysis of this hand...top two.
Villain is 16/12/3
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 5 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $101.95 CO: $100 Button: $26.25 SB: $97.50 BB: $117.20 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero raises to $4, CO calls, 3 folds. Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($9.5, 2 players) Hero bets $6, CO calls. Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($21.5, 2 players) Hero checks, CO bets $16, Hero calls. River: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($53.5, 2 players) Hero bets $30, CO folds. Uncalled bets: $30 returned to Hero. Results: Final pot: $53.5 Preflop: I think I can get away with raising KJo on this table... Flop: I had been cbetting full-pot and villains were folding like crazy, so I decided to bet 2/3 pot here. My idea was to get weaker hands to call and maybe to get aggro villain to raise a draw here. Turn: I think c/c here is better than b/f or b/c. It induces bluffs from villains who like to bluff scare cards, and it gets us to a showdown cheaper than any line where we lead this turn. If we get raised on this turn, we are in a very poor spot IMO where we are likely to make a very wrong decision. River: I think at this point the only thing I'm getting more money out of is the flush and a worse king. I led this river because I think most Kx hands will call my $30 bet, and most flush hands will try to put me all-in. Kinda curious to see what you guys think of this thought process...especially the 2/3 pot cbet (too small?) and the c/c line on the turn. |

pf is whatever, i typically dump but mmmm.
flop you need to bet more. $8+ is goot. turn is fine. i sometimes bet smallish here as you wont get raised without a flush most times. river is fine. well played for the most part. |

Bet $7 or $8 on the flop. I like a check-raise AI on the river, but leading for $33 or so looks fine also.
