Handy Wii tip of the day
If the motion sensor in your wiimote ever stops working but the rest of the features work fine (you can point to things on screen and all the buttons work, but something like swinging in tennis doesn't), this is because the motion sensor is stuck. Take the wiimote in the palm of your hand and smack it upside down into the palm of your other hand (hold the backside in one palm, smack it A-button side down into the other). This will cause the motion sensor to become unstuck, hopefully.
I'm just glad I spent about 5 mins with Wii tech support instead of dealing with having to return it. |

Re: Handy Wii tip of the day
Did tech support actually tell you to just smack the wiimote against your hand?
Next-gen technology is amazing. |

Re: Handy Wii tip of the day
Yeah, I called them expecting to go through the process of returning the remote and getting a new one, but the tech support guy was like "nah it's an easy fix, just smack the thing in the palm of your hand".

Re: Handy Wii tip of the day
Wow, I have been trying to figure out how to adjust the remote volume for weeks. Thanks for the link.
