Italian Football Suspended
web page
Any guesses as to how long this will last? At least through this weekend if I read the article right, but it sounds like it might be for much longer. Is this an overreaction? I didn't know this had been such a serious problem in Italy. Would it make more sense to punish the sides of the supporters who cause this instead? |

Re: Italian Football Suspended
Simply shocking that there would ever be scandal or violence in european football, especially in Italy of all places.

Re: Italian Football Suspended
Does this mean the national team is suspended from playing, or any organized game in all of Italy?
I don't know much about Euro Footbal, so sorry if Q is dumb. |

Re: Italian Football Suspended
this was bound to happen, and to be honest, I have felt for several years that italian football should be given the same treatment that England got after Heysel. The fan violence there over the past ten years has been increasing and something has to be drastically done soon
