Default $25NL6max: Quack! I\'m getting squeezed

BB LOVES to squeeze, I've seen him doing it three or four times (perhaps more) in about 180 hands. He's really lag, 50/32/3.18 and he's not very good at it. Other villian is 40/7/1.7 over 40 hands but I have no "manual" read on him.

How big can we call here?

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $23.55
UTG+1: $25.55
CO: $23.30
Hero: $24.65
SB: $4.50
BB: $30.95

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG calls, UTG+1 raises to $1, CO folds, Hero calls, SB folds, BB raises to $X dollars, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

Give me, roughly, the X for which my PF action was correct

Thanks!

Regards,
Fredrik

I like the novelty of the question! I'll say X<=4, though I'm not too certain. Your read on Villain cuts both ways: his badness means you want to play a big pot in position with him, but his aggression means that you're unlikely to draw for cheap.

I think reads on postflop play help too. Assuming UTG+1 is out of the picture, is BB the kind of Villain you're willing to felt TPWK with (i.e., a maniac)?

I'm afraid I don't have good postflop reads on him. And I'm also aware that after 180 I should at least have something. My feeling for him though is that I probably stand a good chance to get payed it I hit, but also that I might not be able to draw cheap if I want to, as you said.

Would I felt TPWK - good question

I'd probably fold. This hand is more profitable in a multiway limped pot.

I can live with X=3, where we pay 2 and have like 11X for implied odds. If he's really squeezing light, your implied odds are not that good, but raising out of the blinds 4 times out of 180 hands does not equal squeezing light in my mind. I expect he has a real hand, and that my implied odds are good.

When X=4, we're paying 3, stacks are 7X that, even a PP has to fold.

this is kinda whacked but if u have a great read than pushing pf is pretty good here.

it would be my ideal choice if u had an ace.

i'm not sure if I like it given that UTG+1 called so...maybe 2.5 -3.
