Default Which HOH?

I have a big MTT coming up and was wondering which HOH book you would recommend if I could only get one before the event.

If you have to pick one, take #1. #2 is also crucial though. And #3 is certainly recommended...lol.

HOH2 is probably the best, particularly the pushbotting part and the first chapter on making moves.

The text at the beginning of each chapter in HOH is good, but the examples are meh, so if you are limited for time, just read the text in HOH1 & 2. HOH3 is all problems and some of it is a little questionable.

I know a lot of people here think HOH is the nuts, but TPFAP by Sklansky and "Making the Final Table" by Lindgren are also valuable.

If you are looking for basic, semi-deep NL HE advice, HoH1 is the way to go. If you are looking for more tournament, short stack specific stuff then HoH2 is a better choice.

Since most tournaments I've played have ended up being played short stacked the majority of the time, I've found HoH2 to be more valuable overall, after learning the basics of the game.

For playing deeper I really thought NLHE:TAP was better for my game than HoH1, but I don't know if I really would have gotten much out of it if I hadn't read HoH1 first and learned the basics.

General NLHE advice in NLHTP and Super System are way better than anything in a tournament specific book.

Why are you only limited to one again?

I dont have that much time to read all three right now. The tourney is later this month. BTW I have some of the books mentioned including TPFAP by sklansky.
