h1-whatever. i bet your good a bit of the time vs like Ax etc.

h2- i dont see many hands he's doing this with. 46 got there on the turn, 7x is still bluffing with the best hand, i doubt he peels with KQ and the like...his stats may make this closer, but i still prob fold on river.

7x pots river? he's clearly insane, but even he must realize that makes very little sense (unless he knows i'll go through this thought process and look him up with high card, but we have no history and he can't be thinking on this high a level)?

if you think hes bluffing why not raise river so that he folds his "bluffing" hands that happen to beat you.
the only times i like flat calling river bets with A high are
1) when villain is all in
2) when i really dislike villain and want to show him up/tilt him.

that said, in both hands villain could easily have small pairs thinking hes bluffing. hand 1 is much better than hand 2 though

he isnt think that way. lol...a 70/whatever doesnt think that far ahead. he's probably thinking TPZOMG TIME TO VB VS WEAK HANDS LOL and imo, he's not going to check for 'pot control'. i think your giving his thought process a bit too much credit. this is the same type of player that will stack off with 7x no matter what.

right, but as you said, if he has a 7 he'll think "time to vb vs. weak hands." if he bets with KQ or something he's bluffing, not value betting.

if the betting frequency is the same, whats the difference? i think that villan could easily be bluffing with the better hand here (bluffing in our eyes).

sure. i don't think he bets much with a 7, though (especially not full pot), and i think he bets air often.
