Default Under-repped Cowboys

Villain in this hand is a 2+2er. Made comments about me and my BBV history. I usually bet/fold the turn but decided to play this funky. Why, I'm not sure because it put me in a sticky spot. I usually also fold the river a lot of the time but if he floated me on the flop I'm likely good since a lot of the straight draws missed and he also might be raising a hand like AJ for value. I'm also very confused about the turn check on his part. I would think most non draw hands missed. That and 1010,JJ reraise preflop. Thoughts?

Crap, I just realized this guy runs 13/5 over 60 hands. Maybe that means something.

You should be at $100 when the hand starts. I don't like the turn check. I think KK is good 90% of the time and you should be betting for value. I think big blind 2+2er is making a play for the pot on the river. I'd be willing to go AI in this case, but what do I know.

I played 3K hands today. 50K this month. Nowhere have I seen a 2+2er that would make this bluff raise. Honestly, you people must be playing on a different site than I am.

He calls the flop with Tx because you're making a std cbet (he knows you're 2+2 and will do this 90% of the time). He checks turn because zero overcards hit (he wants you to make TPTK, which probably boats him too). On the river he gets what he wants: you betting. So he makes a value raise. He's 99% sure you DON'T have a better hand, so it's pretty safe. Or he got the cheap straight draw that made it. Either way, I don't see a call here.

A hand like 88 would simply call your bet: there is NO reason to raise because nothing worse calls him. There is NO reason to raise that amount: he's risking 60 to win 34. If he has a hand like 32s and can't even beat a bluff, he does it on the flop/turn when it's cheap.

HOW IS THIS EVER A BLUFF FROM A THINKING PLAYER, ARGH. =(

fold river
only time you want to think about calling this is when a FD missed
raise on the river usually means some nit who was slowplaying a monster

Given that a slowplay on this board is vry possible(though still dumb) 89 hit and KQ is unlikely given your holding it's a pretty easy fold, + your hand isn't that underepped and don't forget the knobs theorem also.

Actually that's why it's such a good spot to bluff. River raises from tags are almost never bluffs
