Never read the comic book.

I always thought ghost rider was awesome, and just realized now that I never actually read anythihg about him at all. It was all in my head.

The movie will be both really awesome and really cheesy

guids,

Clearly "really cheesy" is the answer. There is no way that movie will be awesome..and I really wanted it to be. The previews informed me otherwise. Hope that helps

Ghostrider's story line is excellent, I fear this movie will fall way short though.

Hopefully, the Silver Surfer will make the next Fantastic 4 movie more watchable.

I'm definitely leaning towards cheesy dud.

Cheesy

The director (Mark Steven Johnson) was a producer of Elektra and director of Daredevil. I think that pretty much sums it up that it will be terrible.

Dud

Ghost Rider is an interesting comic (it's like a poor man's 'Spawn'), but it is a very dark story (selling your soul to Satan? That will go well with the Christian Coalition) and will be a lot harder to bring to a wide audience than a crowdpleaser like Peter Parker or the Xmen.

I never read the comic, but was Nicholas Cage really a good choice?

It just seems like the whole character should be harder and they needed someone that was more of a tough guy. Or was he a kinda Peter Parker weaker guy in the series?

From pics online pre-skull he looks like Fabio or something, really ripped with longer blonder hair. Not too disappointed they went away from that.
