NL25- Overpair + GS, I know I\'m beat! FLOP decision
Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 5 players Converter Stacks: Hero: $47 Villain: $24 Read: Villain is Ultra-aggressor w/ 20.25/12.66/3.33 over 79 hands Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 folds, Button raises to $1, Hero calls, BB folds. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($2.25, 2 players) Hero checks, Button bets $1.75, Hero raises to $4, Button re-raises to $11.75, Hero ??? My analysis: At this point I am pretty certain that I am beat to an overpair, however I do have 6 outs. I think I can call with implied odds if I hit the turn, but have to fold the river to a push. Any suggestions on what to do here or how to play the flop altogether. Maybe even preflop suggestions? Thanks! |

Probably against two overs. I'd push the flop.

your reraise on the flop is too small imho. reraise to about 7$

i use to play these hands like this, decided it was spew and learned to let them go. maybe at higher levels this is fine, you can find better spots.

reraise more on flop. I like pushing here also, he plays hard after the flop that he can easily have an ace high and 2 overs, push here and dont be a baby

You are beat and you dont have the odds. Let it go.
