Default Gold and High Stakes Poker

No Gossip, just an observation. Anyone see the season 3 premiere for High Stakes Poker? Not surprised but Jamie Gold looked totally outclassed, almost hard to watch- Doyle had to be laughing inside!

The tension at the table was epic, and I am pretty sure Sheiki was happy not to be the worst player there

It could've been worse for Gold. He avoided Ivey, sbrugby, dagostino etc

I thought AJ and gabe were overly critical of Gold. I thought he played decently (although a little to loosly). He also had fun with people poking fun at him, which I think is the best way to handle those situations. I think he could have looked like a much bigger ass.

Shaking his head in pretend disappointment when he had a fullhouse against Doyle Brunson was stupidly amateurish.

Victor Ramdin... not so impressive, just doesn't seem to fit in this mix of players.

I've been out of the HSP loop for a while, but remember hearing that Gold was going to be on it...but I completely lost track of WHEN.

Was last night his very first appearance on it?
Looking fwd to how he gets treated by the pros...

I missed the beginning - who was the chubby asian kid - Chen? Sounded like they were ribbing him as an online player.

Played with him in one of the WSOP events this year(forget which one)...

Was a relatively new guy that the table that had earlier hit his set and tensed up beyond belief. Did the same exact tell against Ramdin. Ramdin had AQ one a Q-x-x board and he went broke againnst the guys' set. I thought it was a clear fold.
