Default NL50 - Flop nut flush draw in a big pot

Table was quite semi-loose aggressive with more than occasional 3-betting going on. (Not really best table selection by me). Villians stats are 21/20/1.33 and we have to assume that he is at least a decent player.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $48.75
UTG+1: $64.90
Hero: $56.30
Button: $37.90
SB: $58.50
BB: $91.75

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $1.75</font>, UTG+1 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $5.5</font>, 3 folds, UTG calls.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($11.75, 2 players)
UTG checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $9</font>, <font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $23</font>, Hero ??

I'm too lazy to run the numbers, but it looks like there is too much $$ in the middle to get away from it at a SLAG table. Shove.

I think I flat call this IP preflop but a reraise is good, too.
This is a good check/raise against a 3bet preflop. I don't think your overs are outs. You are getting 44:14, i.e. 3:1. That are decent odds since UTG has 20 left behind. The board isn't paired so you are drawing live at your flush even if villain has a set. I think I push here.

Well, preflop I don't like the 3-bet amount. If you are going to raise, either make it $7 so he has poor set odds, and cause you are happy to just take it down right there. Or just donkraise it to $4 to try to buy the button cheap and keep anyone from squeezing behind you, and keep the pot under control.

Or just flat-call to start with.
