Default thin valueshove

stars 10/20. im new to table and new to stars 10/20 in general.

tag opens to $80, i call in CO with A8dd. BB who is some random, probably bad etc calls.

flop is 578 rainbow. both check to me, i bet $240 into $250. bb calls

turn brings a second spade but is otherwise blank. he checks and i check.

river brings a third spade but is otherwise blank. bb bets $320 into the $730 pot. i shove for value.

edit: stacks $2k

Bet turn, he is much more likely to have a hand like 89 than an overpair, and almost definetly doesn't have two pair or better.

Wow do you really expect him to call with a worse 8 here when the board brings a flush and flop already contained a straight?

I'd prefer betting turn and then betting river again.

i dont expect worse hands to call often at all. but i expect him to have better incredibly rarely, so itīs almost a freeroll shove. i think betting the turn is good too but i canīt call a crai, can i? i donīt know he doesnīt have me beat on the turn, but i pretty much do on the river.

expand on this, because luego and discussed this hand a lot and naturally disagreed - it sounds like a FTOP error or something like it.
