seems like what everyone would say is standard

just a question for anyone responding...checking the turn for pot control here would be a mistake, right?...sorry for the hijack AL..but maybe you were wondering that as well. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

seems, good, i would say overall your c-bet sizes are a little on the small side though

also, when you get to the river, weaker aces will still call you, but if you are against an aggressive villain who can bet busted draws, you should consider check calling the river sometimes since the FDs, double gutter, and gutshots all missed

I think it's fine. Basically 3/4 pot bets on every street. Prodigy, I wouldn't check behind on the turn for pot control in this case. If he's on a draw you want to charge him and you won't get paid on the river if he misses.

Hero can't do that in this case since he's in position and it's checked to him. In general I agree with this idea, but at uNL I haven't had much luck inducing bluffs from busted draws by checking the river OOP. For every bluff I've picked off I must be letting a dozen 2nd best made hands get a cheap showdown. I feel like I'm losing a lot of value on the river doing this. There's a good chance I'm not targeting the correct villains to induce a bluff though.

By checking we lose value from Ax/FD's/1 pair hands that would have otherwise called a stiff turn bet @25NL.

Would it be better to bet half the pot on the river?

It seems our villian is/could be on a busted draw so it probably doesn't matter much.
