Default How did I get in this mess? (AKo)

Second hand of the tournament. On the first hand, I raised ATo from MP and folded to a re-raise.

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t10/t20
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: t2000
Hero: t1940
MP1: t2000
MP2: t2090
MP3: t2000
CO: t2000
Button: t1990
SB: t1980
BB: t2000

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to t80</font>, 4 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises to t180</font>, 2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to t540</font>, Button calls t360 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t750)</font>.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (t1110, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets t600</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises all-in t1450</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero calls all-in t800</font>.

Was this just how it had to go down or was it avoidable? I considered it kinda odd to get re-raised again and I was gonna be out of position so that led me to make the re-raise pre-flop to maybe get him to fold if he was light. Then, on the flop, I'm thinking, well, I'm representing a monster and I've already put in a quarter of my stack, and he didn't hit that, so I might as well bet at it...then when he puts me all-in, I'm thinking, well, now I'm getting 4-1, which is proper odds against QQ or less, and total donks jam good aces like this sometimes, could have AdQd or something...so now I have to call...???

Thoughts?

what happened with the rest of the hand.....
but its early in the tourney so even with AK its not worth raising big be4 the flop relying on an A or K to hit. Sound like u didnt put him on a range of hands...its probably around any pair, and AJ or better ....mayb KQ suited...so u cuddve just called before the flop or just called the reraise....

I would just call the raise why re raise with AK either shove or call, your out of position, hes not folding to your raise to 540 thats out of the question and i would get rid of that move asap. After the suicide prefolp move i would call his all in he was probally looking for a no ace flop to push.
