Flop trips with heavy action
I'm playing a live $5/5 game 7handed at the moment. I open in the hijack with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for $20. SB (pretty good LAG) calls with 900 behind. BB who just sat down with 1500 calls, and I have 1200.
Flop comes down 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB and BB check. I bet 50, SB checkraises to 150, BB calls 150 cold, and I decide to call with position, reevaluating on the turn. Turn brings the 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB now bets just 250, and the BB makes it 600 straight. What's my move, and how should I have played the flop checkraise? I'm not sure about a few things in this hand. |

Re: Flop trips with heavy action
You beat a number of "I'll make it $600" hands here.

Re: Flop trips with heavy action
I can see a call on the flop. It becomes a very easy muck on the turn, however. Yes, one of them might be betting a flush draw and the other has QJ, but I would not be willing to go broke hoping for that in this case.
