I run a laptop with bluetooth mouse and keyboard, sometimes it seems to completely forget my mouse exists and I have to run through the setup again. Whilst this is not complex it is a little annoying any suggestions?
Before I had left it idle and it seemed to have forgotton it had a bluetooth device at all. After turning it on and off a few times all was normal. OS is XP SP2. Dell XPS M1710 laptop |

I have no idea but since nobody else replied, I'll at least chime in w/ a "Have you checked your batteries?".
I hate wireless keyboards and mice for this very reason....they're great when they work but frustrating when they don't. I used a wireless (years ago...before bluetooth) kdb and mouse for a while and initially thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread since I was constantly moving between a couple seats and always tangled the cables...but after a couple battery replacements I'd rather untangle cables periodically and know when I press a button that it gets pressed. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. |
