Tough spot in 3bet pot

Villain is 22/16/3.25. He seems pretty aggressive but somewhat solid. He shoved AI to isolate a guy who shoved 25BB and another somewhat tight guy called him w/ QQ, so he might not be thinking on too many deep levels.

He has a wide range raising from the button, but I think his range is very narrow the moment he calls.

I think the moment he calls my flop bet I'm beat. He quickly shoved once I checked the river. I think it took him like about a second.

lol, the above statement makes no sense, so here it is edited:
He shoved AI w/ QQ to isolate a guy who shoved 25BB and when another somewhat tight player had cold called. As a result, he might not be thinking on too many levels deep.

Whats up with betting half the pot size on the flop?

Are there any other threads were C-bets in spots like theese are discussed?

I pretty much put him squarely on AK/overpair since I doubt he ever peels loosely preflop/flop. There's no need for me to bet any bigger.
