Default calldown or pitch?

table's playing very very loose, and villain is contributing to the looseness.

as played id dump it now, if he was in position id probably just call to see if he took a freecard. If hes the type of loose player u claim id call the flop and turn and bet the river if he checked tho i don't usually take these 3bet in position lines with underpairs vs laggros.

sidenote: out of curiosity how do we think 3betting folding to a cap effects metagame?

metagame is probably meaningless vs this guy, as I don't think he pays attention much.

I do get checkraised with a lot of bottom middle pair, flush draw, air type hands in general and threebetting mid pps has been good to me in that respect.

also fwiw, this villain is loose, though I don't have a specific passive read on him yet. He could just be being loose because everyone else is being loose.

Against 2 of those hands 3 betting is worse. If he has air you don't want to 3 bet, and you only want to 3 bet a flush draw if he wouldn't 3 barrel (well actually you'd want to raise the turn in that case). It's also bad against better hands that calldown once 3 bet, and obviously bad if he decides to cap the flop with a worse hand.

So it's only really good against worse made hands, and we only make .5SB more in that case.

Guru, Your As2s hand was so bad I physically didnt have the ability to comment on it. Your flop 3bet in this hand is almost as bad.
