Default Anyone up for a c-bet?

X-post from SSSH

Here's one I'm unsure about as I'm not used to seeing this many to the flop, do you c-bet?

If so please state your reasons.

No reads as I just sat down.

I always c-bet. In this case, my rationalization would be; sometimes you can clear even this many from a pot with a bet, there are a lot of cards that can come in on the turn to give you good draws (so putting a little money in now could pay off), an Ace or King is likely to be a winner for you, and you can find out a little bit more about where you stand at the moment.

I can't tell you if this is a good play or not, just I always find some way to rationalize a c-bet.

I bet and call a raise.

If the turn is a club, I check and call.

A or K and I bet.

I'm not sure what I like if a Q comes.

What about Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]?

Also b/c or b/f A or K?

depends on the flop action. with that many players, and if they are really bad, c betting the turn could be good. but being as you just sat down, if the turn was 4 way still, I may check and hope for a free one, which is highly unlikely at that game.

i think calling with outs is >>> betting with outs here.

Always? That's a pretty big leak in your game then.

I don't get it...why wouldn't you bet?

Sorry I was talking about the flop. A J44 board seems like a good board for a bet.

3 opponents, a card in the range and flushdraw board.

that being said, i still c-bet it. the board isnt co-ordinated enough to be scared of and the low pair helps.

3 villians is my no mans land. what do the flop calls mean? preflop cold calls?

if this is my first hand, like I hadn't been watching the table or anything, if there are still me and 3 others to the turn, I'm fearing a better hand than A high atm.

Plus I hate being oop.
