Default I can\'t believe what HBO On Demand did to me

Everyone here says that "Rome" is awesome. Season Two starts in two weeks, and Season One (12 episodes) is available On Demand now. So I give it a shot.

It's awesome. I love it.

I sat down to watch Episode 10 tonight. It was so good, I decided to stay up a little bit later to watch Episode 11.

Episode 11 is not on the menu. It skips from 10 to 12.

WT ever-loving F??? How can they do this to me? How can they set the hook into me like that, then leave me high and dry?

Now what do I do? Skip Episode 11? Canvas the local video stores, in the hope of finding it? The local video stores SUCK ASS. They won't have it. If NetFlix has it, it'll take a week to get it (I'll first need to return one of these DVDs that has been collecting dust while I've been using my very limited tv time watching "Rome").

Call cable company.

I doubt it was HBO, as I have all Romes on-demand.

I'd tell you what I do in situations like this (or rather, what I do long before reaching episode 10) but I'd rather not get banned.

I called the cable company near the end of Season Three of "Deadwood". I work nights, and would watch the new episodes the next day. Late in the season, it would take three or four days for them to put up the new episodes On Demand.

Cable company chick told me that is all controlled by HBO, not the cable company. I don't have any reason to believe that she knew what she was talking about. She checked a tv in her office, and her menu was identical to mine.

Same thing happened with the last few episodes of Bill Maher this year.

Whatever you decide, don't just skip episode 11...it's the best episode of the season.

Yep. They did the same thing with the next to last episode of the Sopranos. It was the episode where Vito gets killed. I figured they pulled it for gaybashing reasons. Eventually it was put back on the list.
