Default You can\'t bluff a calling station

Best Villain ever. Total LAG maniac, can hold any 2 cards and loves betting with the worst hand. I had to switch gears when in hands against him, and just call rivers with A-high.

Here are some of our battles:

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, UTG+2 raises, Hero 3-bets, 5 folds, BB calls, UTG+2 calls.

Flop: (9.40 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, BB folds, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: (5.70 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+2 bets, Hero calls.

River: (7.70 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+2 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.70 BB

Results in white below:
UTG+2 has 9d Qc (one pair, sevens).
Hero has Ad Kd (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Hero wins 9.70 BB.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

You open-raise Q9o and K5s in EP at a full table?

These guys are awesome. You think they would realize whats going on after the 5th hand they try to push you off.

Edit: But it sucks when they river a raggedy pair to beat your ace high hand after hand. Then distribute your money to the rest of the table. Or immediately leave with a nice chunk of your stack.

no, the same from your perspective, with the same results. i just don't see what makes these hands so post-worthy.

It's BBV. I'm bragging about seat selection and being able to milk almost $200 from a maniac. In no way do I think my play was expert. But I'm certainly not calling down with A-high this often against unknowns or tight players.

And yes, if you play any hands the same way I do, then you do suck at poker. Sorry.

Hand one - good.
Hand two - bet the turn.
Hand three - bet the flop.
Hand four - raise the flop.
