I would bet more on the flop.. you are giving odds to call for a flush draw. This is a good spot for an overbet.. like 2.25 or 2.5.


I wonder if checking turn would have been wiser.. advice anyone?

and btw: he had AsKx? or something similar?

he had-- <font color="white"> Ad6d for the flush </font> ..I thought that some combo pair/draw was most likely as well..and it probably is actually..

regardless of the results though...I think it may be better to play it another way..just not sure of what that way is..maybe just making my flop and turn bets bigger?..basically potting both the flop and turn would be best?

oh..and I had stats but forgot to add them for some reason..

Well, if you think he has specifically a flush, then yes. The implied odds don't justify drawing for a boat here.
