one more wtf spot
villian is one of the worst people i have ever played poker with. pt stats like 51/15/1.4. when he miniraises or limps preflop he will basically call anything to see the flop where he'll continue with any piece or overcards.
who thinks a re-raise is best here? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $50 BB (7 handed) internettexasholdem.com Hero ($21505) CO ($4625) Button ($14789) SB ($8933) BB ($5000) UTG ($3085) MP1 ($10767.50) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls $50, MP1 calls $50, Hero raises to $300, 2 folds, SB calls $275, 1 fold, UTG calls $250, MP1 raises to $550, Hero |

Re: one more wtf spot
DJ you watched it live and the postflop action?
Yeah I agree I played it pretty bad but if you recall what UTG had there was basically no way I could get away from giving him his 4k if I had come back over the top for $1500 preflop... Do we think villian's got 99 or better here most of the time? His play was very unorthodox so I really wouldn't be too suprised to see anything from a pair of dueces to AA here....88 is way ahead of his range, and I have position, and there's a lot of dead money in the pot already so it probably is best to make another re-raise. too bad I am on a short roll and playing nitty |

Re: one more wtf spot
id call here anyway. I wouldnt wanna play a big pot with a mid pair against a donk. cause like u said hes calling your raise 100%.

[/ QUOTE ] so what? let him call. u r playing a big pot with position and the initative against a donk and you might very well have the best hand. + all the dead money in the pot, this is a very profitable situation, i would make the same play with AJ+ too |
