$50 FR - blind battle grows into large pot
Not my usual play in this position, BUT, villan is very LAGgy, 54/20/6.5 over 50 hands, and has been 3-betting preflop very liberally, especially against my late position raises.
Did I pick the right spot to play back against a maniac here? Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 8 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $10 UTG+1: $7.75 MP1: $42.55 MP2: $39.65 CO: $48.50 Button: $68.37 MadMat: $49 BB: $82.35 Pre-flop: (8 players) MadMat is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 folds, <font color="#cc0000">MadMat raises to $2</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $3.5</font>, MadMat calls. Yes.
Some people will tell you to wait for a better spot, but this looks good to me. He is definitely looking for fold equity here. |
