Default NBA 2k7 Draft Questions regarding Oden & Durant

For the upcoming draft on espn, tsn, radio and many other places I keep on hearing so much about Greg Oden and Kevin Durant.

I've checked up on their online stats and watch some highlights and they do look pretty nice...

But are these guys considered an average #1 pick based on lets say the last 10 years draft. Or are they comparable to Lebron or even better skill wise?

Help a Canadian out.. thanks

They are both good, but FWIW Toronto would hang up the phone if either player were offered for Chris Bosh.

Oden has a ton of potential at the center position and his stats this year have been hurt as he comes back from an injury to his shooting hand. He is great on D, some have compared him to Patrick Ewing or Alonzo Mourning.

Durant is going to be a great scorer, but hasn't shown the ability to much else.

you realize durant had 23 rebounds in a regulation game this year? or that he's quite a good passer/shotblocker for his age/size?

Man, I guess averaging 11.6 RPG, 1.5 SPG, and 1.9 BLK with .394% from 3 point land isn't good these days. I guess he can't do much else other than score. I think your thinking of Reddick, I'm pretty sure Durant can do much more.

Anyway, I think these two are considered to better than most 1st picks in a draft. This seems to be the second best draft in recent memory, behind the Lebron/Wade/Melo/Bosh/Darko draft, in terms of how people felt about these players before the draft

We need to know who is leaving first. If Oden, Durant, Wright, Noah, Horford, Thabeet, J. Wright, Young, Chase B, Brewer, etc. are leaving we should have an outstanding class. If they aren't the seniors really aren't anything special. I'm betting on Oden, Durant, Noah, Horford and others leaving though.

Oden and Durant are both incredible and above the average for 1 and 2 in the draft. What Oden has done with an injured hand has been amazing. Durant lacks maturity, but that's about it. He's going to be an all-star in the NBA.

Neither are as good as Steve Nash.
