well, dealing with Brandon Vera wasn't exactly going to be great news for him to begin with. With PRIDE on its possible death knell, it will be very interesting to see if Dana White and the Ferrititas shell out to get some top HW talent

This is all still rumor. There hasn't been an offical announcement from either side. Sherdog just spoke to an unnamed souce in CroCop's camp. There are quotes in the Croatian Media from Mirko saying he hasn't made up his mind yet, and he doesn't know who would have told Sherdog that he had.

This thread on sherdog links all the Croatian soruces, I don't speak the language, so I'm relying on the posters from the thread for translations (slightly dubious relying on random sherdog posters, I know.).

Seems the prevailing theory is that he's got a big offer from The UFC an now he's trying to use it as leverage with DSE/Pride.
