How many countries need to have players in the band for it to be "World Music" instead of <insert country name> music?

We had a guy who liked to play it during shifts and since we were Americans and didn't speak Spanish we would make up lyrics to the songs. Usually about a boy and his donkey.

All I know is, for you stoners out there, buy some Indian/baliwood dvds w/ music videos on them, I take care of this indian restaurant, and they have this huge old school big screen that plays nothing but these videos, adn they are HILLAAAAARIOUS. Im not a big indian food guy, but I make excuses to BS with teh owner so I can watch these videos.

What I did was just obtain about 30 Putumayo records and pare these down to a bunch of songs I really liked. Waaay to much afropop on the ones I got and not nearly enough cuban music (cuban music is seriously amazing) but a great way to plunge into it.
