Default 2/4 AK sooted = nuts

MP is a solid multitabler at the 2/4, SB i hadnt seen before but he doesnt seem that great, mostly because he's coldcalling 50 from the SB. At the time I figured I want to get all-in here, but realistically what hand are they gonna play back with besides QQ/JJ/44 ??

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($510.80)
MP ($496.10)
Hero ($760.95)
SB ($317.20)
BB ($444.40)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP raises to $16, Hero raises to $52, SB calls $50, 1 fold, MP calls $36.

Flop: ($160) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, MP checks, Hero bets alot?

Hero bets 125.

Theres too many hands villians can have here and your only getting it in with the worst of it vs 3 of them.

I think you must bet here, and of course call any raises.

bet with stacks as they are, $120 or whatever is fine. if stacks were deeper i'd more prefer a check behind.

Against MP, you never get it in on the flop as a favorite, so checking is probably OK. Your outs are all cards that would cause him to shut down with a big hand though, so you might not stack him this way.

Against SB, I think you have to bet to build a big pot if he's the type that would call down the whole way, and this seems pretty likely from his preflop play. You also might get a free card if you want it.

As others have said, 120 or 125 sounds about right.

Why check when deeper? I'm not questioning the advice, just an SSNLer trying to learn. Is it because we could face a c/r push that we can't call?
