Arenas on Kobe

A nice little feud is developing between Kobe Bryant and Gilbert Arenas, after Kobe said Arenas had no conscience and some of the shots he took en route to 60 points against the Lakers last week were "terrible."
"I score 60, Kobe downplays my 60 like it's nothing," Arenas said. "It happens. At the end of the day, I'm in the record book." Arenas continued with "Everybody says, 'Oh, he's not better than this person, he's not better than that person.' But if you go year by year, number-wise, what's the difference between me and Kobe? He had Shaq. He got three rings. Other than that, my numbers are blowing his out of the water the first six years in the league."

Arenas is a Monster. Kobe is a Monster. Here are the differences

Kobe plays defense. When Gil stars playing defense he can then compare himself to Kobe. Until then he can compare himself wih MCgrady.

Kobe got those numbers on championship teams.

Kobe West coase Gil east coast. Anyone can average 20 a game in he east. Look at Michael redd.

Offensively I would say Gil is the closest thing to Kobe. Because Gil has a jumpshot almost as good if not better than Kobes.

GA is an incredibly talented player, but Kobe's got the rings making him great.

Wade just had a fantastic game against Kobe too, but Kobe was generous with the compliments. Maybe it's b/c of some of the backlash from his comments against Arenas.

Kobe is a better defender, rebounder, and passer (passer when he wants to be). Also is their anyone more clutch in the league than Kobe? Gil is good, but lets not compare him to Kobe, that is just wrong.

I'm a huge Arenas fan, but I agree that except for scoring he can't touch Kobe's all around game.
