I am aware of the fact that this matter may have been previously addressed, but when 2 individuals are noted "all-in", why are players cards not revealed? Thank You.

In ring games, you never need to show your cards unless you want to table them and make a claim for the pot.

I believe that flipping your cards is a tourney thing that was introduced as tournaments started to become televised.

I think your right about the timeline regarding flipping in tourneys.

But I do agree with the OP that I prefer when sites make you flip pre showdown. I keep wondering if I'm ahead or not the entire time the cards are dealt. Frustrating.

I also like the instaflip, I hate wondering if that ace on the turn killed me... wait for it... Yup, it did.

When two people are all-in in a cash game, why does FTP flip over their cards instead of keeping them down like Pokerstars?

Good question, but why can't I see the other guy's cards when we're all in in a cash game on PS? FTP flips them over.
