10NL 99...how is this play?

Bodog 10NL.......hand history doesnt work so ill do my best. This was the very first hand of the table. I had absolutely nothing on the villain. When this flop came down I figured the first better might have caught a piece of it, and when the villain called I put him on a flush draw. Thought he would probably re raise w/ top pair or set to see where he was....especially with the drawing board.

Was this ok?? I figured he was probably drawing and hit the flush but I had so much invested that I couldnt have check-folded. Was turn bet too much? I know I want to give him bad odds for his draws but I dunno. let me know what ya'll think.

Agreed. You don't necessarily want a call there and he can't fold the river anyway. It's okay if he folds the turn.
