10/20 - QQ in a blind battle.
Just sat down, no reads on villain. The previous hand was my first at the table... I defended my BB, raised the flop bet then folded to a turn donk-bet from a different villain.

I think your hand is seriously underrepped.

Re: 10/20 - QQ in a blind battle.
I would bet/fold the turn most of the time here against an unknown. Check/call turn for pot control is probably goot too, but no way would I ever fold on that river after c/c-ing turn.
If anything, if I lead turn and get called, I can find a river fold much easier if he jams, but when you c/c turn I think c/c blank river is mandatory. |

Re: 10/20 - QQ in a blind battle.
wtf? insta-call.
I think a check-call is better than a c/r all in, though. "never getting called by hands you beat" has become sort of a cliche at this point, but this is one of those cases imo. Check-call turn/river seems like the best line here. Kirk |

Re: 10/20 - QQ in a blind battle.
Your poker logic is flawed.
You called the turn bet, and then the most harmless card in the deck comes on river and u r considering folding? Either fold turn which is ridiculous or insta call river. |

i would c/r ai on turn quite often. if not, i'd push the river more often than not.

[/ QUOTE ] no no no no no no no no no no no no no hotmark. YOUR poker logic is flawed. I can't believe some high stakes players still don't understand something this simple. Just because the BOARD doesn't change doesn't mean your CHANCES OF WINNING VS YOUR OPPONENTS RANGE doesn't change on a blank river that your opponent has BET. That said this is an obvious call, someone lock the thread. |
