Default 5/10 AA spew?

Have been playing with villian for about an hour. He constantly defends his bb, and he plays well postflop. Have not seen him get too out of line with weak and strong hands alike.

I am button with AA
I raise, he calls in bb.
10 4 6r
He check-raises I 3-bet he calls.
Turn 3 He check-raises, I call
River K he bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I fold.

meh?

Yes your river raise is spewage. This guy plays well postflop, which means all you have here is a crying call down once he check/raises the turn after your flop play.

Yeah, you are smoked, especially after the turn c/r. As ILP said it's a crying calldown from there.

why raise the river instead of 3betting the turn if you think you're ahead?

(not that you should do either.)
