Default Has the Snowball melted?

Hello,
can anyone tell me whats going to happen to the PartyMegaSnowball program and September's Snowball tournament which was scheduled for today in particular? Support tells me it has been cancelled. Any updates?

The September Snowball ($25k) is provisionally Scheduled for next Sunday

Party have been difficult to nail down given recent US events. Your affiliate will be in touch regards the exact details when they are fixed up.

The next Snowball will be in November but your "melted" gag, is definitely an issue!

Kind regards

I'll go out on a limb, and suggest that the real question is... Will US players who qualified, be allowed to play in this private "freeroll"?

The tournament is tomorrow at 15:00 ET according to Party software (which is 14:00 EST)...but the clocks go back tonight.

If you have qualified you will have been notified by YOUR affiliate. Early indications are that US players probably will not be eligible to play, as it seems Party have not yet made a decision on allowing US players to enter freerolls.

In case you have not received an email and want to check, you can just turn up to the lobby and click on register, if you are eligible it will let you register.

The tournament is in the Party Lobby

Hmm. I am a US player and am not registered for this tournament. I posted about this a week ago under RIppedOffbyRaketherake.
SO far it looks like 19 players are registered for a $25,000 prize pool. Is this correct?

How is this snowball tournament funded? If it is funded or partially funded by raketherake players rake?
If so, why can't the rake from the US players be pooled and a tournament held at a site where us players CAN play like FULLTILT? No that difficult. We could have received an email asking if we (US players) wanted to play in a free fulltilt tournament?
Surprised that a rakeback company that advertises over 13,000 plus rakeback clients has no leverage on this issue.

The players are likely all on one tracker because RB isn't allowed. How would RTR determine how much rake was generated by US-based players?
