Default NL100: Stack-a-donk, but who\'s the donk?

is this a good time for this line? villian is 44/20 over a big sample. he's a little scary aggressive, but definitely not a winning player. this might be standard, i dunno

I'd rather valuebet the whole way. Some Qs actually fold here, as do 99-JJ type hands. They convince themselves to call down on safe flops, though.

Without draws out there, I agree, this line is unnecessary. It may help down the line, if villain loves to float in position.

If you have history with this villain, I like this line. For example, if you have been mixing it up with him in pots and making plays I think this line will get paid off by this type of player pretty regularly.

However, if you have been playing pretty solid TAG poker I'd prefer valuebetting the whole way.

no history. i think i like valuebetting, in retrospect. say we bet and he plays back on a seemingly blank turn...are we willing to felt this vs an unknown?
