25/50 tptk deep hu
villain is E Tyme on FTP, he plays tighter than most regs, I've been running him over for much of our hu match.....converter wouldn't work so I'll just write it out
he raises to 150 on the button, I reraise to 550 with AdKs flop Kc 8c Jd I bet 850, he takes about 5 seconds and makes it 2900, I? edit- he has 11k I cover |

Re: 25/50 tptk deep hu
have you been rring him a lot? if you have (and always c-bet), you should call and c/f the turn. he likes to call every single reraise and raise the flop with XX pretty often. when he's called he seldom double barrels the turn without the goods. so while you give him a free look at the river if he is bluffing or semi-bluffing, there are a bunch of times he just has say A4 and is drawing really slim.
btw, checking the flop is a good play here with these stacks, although i'm sure you bet the flop because you figured he'd call way more than raise. |

Re: 25/50 tptk deep hu
tough spot w/ stack sizes.
call flop. fold unimproved turn if he makes a standard bet. |

Re: 25/50 tptk deep hu
his button raise could mean alot of things. he is a tag and you are deep if he is pulling a bluff let him have it. just fold and steal the money back later from him. i check flop also and i dont reraise pre against another deep stack with ak off oop normally vs a tag.

Re: 25/50 tptk deep hu
I hate this spot because you're so deep and only have top pair. Of course I was watching this hand while it happened so my judgement is a little skewed but I like flat calling the flop and reevaluating on the turn. The problem is, there are so many scare cards that dumping this on the flop wouldn't be horrible. I still think flop check would be best though in hindsight.
