KK Post flop Vs. a TAG
Hey guys, I'm mainly a tournament player so I'm not very good at deep stack poker. The opponent in this hand is a solid TAG. Please offer comments and criticisms pre-flop and post flop.
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 9 players Converter Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is BB with :kh :kc 3 folds, MP2 raises to $3</font>, MP3 calls, 3 folds, Hero raises to $12.5</font>, MP2 folds, MP3 calls. Flop: :6c :td :qd ($28.5, 2 players) Hero bets $28.5</font>, MP3 raises to $60</font>, Hero raises all-in $111.7</font>, MP3 calls all-in $42.95</font>. Uncalled bets: $8.75 returned to Hero. Re: KK Post flop Vs. a TAG
looks like ~full stacks,
MP3's range would be around 22-TT, AK, AQs. I think anything higher than T's raises PF, as does AK and sometimes AQs. (you didn't give stats, just that he's a solid TAG. Depending how T-- and -AG he is defines his range a lot closer) Solid player playing AA/KK tricky reraises after your preflop reraise as that line looks like a huge bluff. Unless there is some strange combo draw going on here (KdJd, AdKd) it looks like you're up against a set. Min-raises are always hard, but I think that based on preflop action you are sa/wb. You'd have to crunch numbers to see what decision is best based on what you perceive his range to be and pot odds. I think it's marginal at best. [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Party's Over ps: please learn to convert. Also don't post the rest of the hand, only the peice you are confused about (ie if you are confused what to do when the action gets to you preflop, cover your action and the rest of the hand with "Hero ..." etc |
