need help 27TD 5/10
OK, im just picking this game up, so this may be horrible. Any advice on any street is appreciated.
folded around to the SB who seems like a pretty decent/tight player. SB raises and I reraise with 24679. SB takes two and I stay pat (??) SB checks I bet SB takes 1 I stay pat SB checks, I bet, SB checkraises, I folded. In retrospect this seems like an awful fold as I could have broken and drawn to a 67, but I dont think Id seen him checkraise once before, and I was convinced for some reason that he had a 7. Thoughts? |

Re: need help 27TD 5/10
If you are convinced he had a 7 its a good fold, but he probably did not and its probably not a good fold. I would draw one initially hoping to make a big big hand. Also if he's good he will take a shot at you somewhere in the hand and may have done so. This is a great spot to take a shot at someone because its just damn hard to make a great initially pat hand especially in a blind battle so he just assumes you have a hand like you have.

Re: need help 27TD 5/10
I would normally be inclined to take 1 at the first draw (and certainly would have if he had taken 1) but I thought with him drawing 2 I could end the hand immediately if he didnt improve, or if he only improved to a rough draw.

It would be wrong for him to fold both a solid 3 card hand or a fairly rough one card hand if you stay pat. He will certainly peel. Gotta draw one here.
