Dumb, Unconscionably Vague Question (Recent Cover Songs)

Apologies in advance. I was in the car this weekend scanning through radio stations, when I heard a cover of a song. The original song was reasonably modern and not a jazz or bluesy song. Possibly U2 or Goo Goo Dolls-esque. The cover was jazzy/bluesy and by a woman. It sounded a lot like Corinne Bailey Rae ("Put Your Records On"), but research suggests it is not her. Immediately after the song ended, the station identified itself as a player of smooth jazz. Unfortunately, I forgot what song was being covered. Anyone know what song I'm talking about?
