BSB - take it on the turn
Nothing going on at work and nothing on the board so I'll post some hands.
Something I used to do a lot was call on the flop to take it away on the turn. I sort of stopped because you look awfully silly when it fails but do we like this? About one orbit after first break. No specific read on villain (for which read that I can't remember him so he hadn't done anything of note) - I haven't played a hand since before the break. Re: BSB - take it on the turn
i like the idea in theory, but i try to do it only when EVERYTHING is right. sometimes it works to represent the flush on boards like this, but because this is BSB i think most players (and certainly you) would bet a flush draw on the flop, so the turn raise seems dodgy.
for this spot i think 600 on the flop is better, altho i wudda raised pre-flop for sure |
