Documentary Films
I googled but came up dry except for a film festival that is past tense. I'm looking for a documentary film that was just nominated for an oscar. The name of the film is: A Note of Triumph: The Golden Age of Norman Corwin.
My late father featured Mr. Corwin in one of his crossword puzzles and they corresponded briefly. So I would like to purchase or a least view the film but am coming up dry. Seems that even the oscar nominated documentaries are distributed very sparsely. Or maybe I'm clueless where to look. |

Re: Documentary Films
it's a documentary short, so unless you can find a screening of all the doc short nominees, you may be out of luck
although, there's always a chance it'll end up on a comp DVD somewhere it was produced by Herzog Productions. i suggest trying to contact them. link |

Re: Documentary Films
Hi Toro,
One of my best friends is personally very close to Mr. Corwin, they talk/correspond weekly. He's something like 94 now! Such talent. I'll be speaking with my friend tomorrow -and we'll see if we can't get that film for you! My friend may even have it and could perhaps share it with you! Hope to see you at Trout tonight too...
